Con's career in commerce has been marked by its success in property assets.

This is evident by many landmark interests in Western Australia including the New Hedland Esplanade Hotel in Hedland's West End; the Holiday Inn Perth City Centre, Waterford Shopping Centre, Mirrabooka Medical Centre and Kardinya Park Shopping Centre along with the Plaza Arcade in the City. 

 

Con and the Berbatis family have held many other property related assets and business interests over a period of some 50 years.

 

He has also diversified his business activities and investments in recent times to include R&D start-ups.

The Berbatis family cut their teeth in the budget accommodation industry, namely hostels. They are well known industry leaders in the hostel sector. This includes:

  • Shannon House, Subiaco (2010-2021)

 

 

Commerce - Property

 

The Berbatis family have held interests in medical centres, residential property and other general commercial assets.

 

Indeed Con started his property career in synergy with pharmacy developing multi-purpose primary medical and health buildings. He presently holds substantial interests in inner-city Perth apartments (MSquare) and other residential properties in Perth's inner suburbs. He has also previously held interests in commercial and retail property.
